By accessing or using WishingJar, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

These terms apply to creators, supporters, visitors, and anyone who submits wishes, creates jars, or supports fundraisers through WishingJar.

WishingJar lets users create digital jars for wishes, celebrations, and fundraisers. Creators can share links, collect messages, manage public settings, and preserve or export collected wishes where supported.

Fundraiser jars may include naira support through Paystack. Dollar support may be shown as coming soon until it is made available in production.

Creators are responsible for the accuracy of jar details, fundraiser descriptions, payout details, privacy settings, and management links.

Creators must not create misleading fundraisers, impersonate others, or use WishingJar for unlawful, harmful, abusive, fraudulent, or spam activity.

If a jar is created for another person, the creator is responsible for using that person's name, story, images, or event details respectfully and lawfully.

You keep ownership of messages and content you submit, but you grant WishingJar the right to store, display, process, and transmit that content as needed to operate the service.

We may remove content or restrict access to jars that violate these terms, harm users, or create legal, safety, fraud, or abuse risks.

Fundraiser support is processed through Paystack. Payment processing fees, transfer fees, chargebacks, reversals, and provider terms may apply.

WishingJar may deduct a platform service fee before payout. If a jar meets its funding goal, the service fee may be 10% of the payout amount. If a jar does not meet its funding goal at payout time, the service fee may be 15% of the payout amount.

Example: if a jar collects N1,000,000 and meets its goal, a 10% WishingJar service fee would be N100,000 before other Paystack, transfer, or transaction fees.

Creators are responsible for providing accurate payout account details and for any taxes, reporting, or legal obligations connected to funds they receive.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information. By using WishingJar, you also agree to the practices described in that policy.

Management links, passwords, and creator access details should be kept safe. Anyone with access to a management link may be able to make changes to a jar.

We work to keep WishingJar available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The service may be affected by maintenance, provider outages, payment provider issues, database limits, or other technical conditions.

WishingJar is provided as is, without warranties to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

We may suspend, hide, delete, or restrict jars and accounts if we believe there is fraud, abuse, policy violation, security risk, payment risk, or legal risk.

Creators may delete jars where the product provides that control. Deletion may be irreversible.
